acpitail software package provides Show ACPI information in a tail-like style, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install acpitail
acpitail is installed in your system.
Make ensure the acpitail package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep acpitail *
You will get with acpitail package name, version, architecture and description in a table
